He has a wide musical taste from classical and early music to Def Leppard (with a particular penchant for Status Quo!).On Electric GuitarAlasdair (Ali) Brown - joined Phoenix in 2010 and adds a bluesier, rockier edge to the Phoenix sound. He has a love of guitars and their associated gadgetry - if you hear strange atmospheric noises at one of our gigs - he's probably found a new gadget on e-bay! Jonny Chuter - Occasionally guesting on guitar, Johny was nearly a rock n' roll star in the early 1970s when his band Whistler released their only album, but it only sold 354 copies (they now have huge rarity value...). His day job is as a counsellor and healer.

On Electric BassNigel (Doc) Skinner ? Nigel comes from a classical background having played ?cello. He first tried his hand at electric bass when Phoenix were being put together. He took to it like a duck to water and brought all kinds of interesting new ideas to the bass line. He has the added advantage of fully understanding those five lines with dots on!On DrumsPatrick Skinner - Keeping up the family tradition Doc Skinner's son joins us on drumsSteve Thompson ? Occasionally guesting on drums, Steve has played in Rock bands around South Devon for some time. He has also played with jazz and swing outfits so brings a wealth of experience to the Phoenix sound. He has a van - always useful!!
